What are recommended areas to ride?
There are many trails you can take from Nemo with various terrain. We like to discuss your desire with you in person, so we can provide the best options. With that, here are a few attractions in the area that you may want to check out prior to your arrival. Look up Nemo flag on Nemo Mountain, Dalton Lake, Custer Peak Lookout, Miners Hotel, Galena and Rochford.
Are there maps of the area that we can use?
There are paper maps available that you can use, but we recommend downloading the Avenza map for the area. This app does not require cell service, so you can use in throughout the hills. Please click this link to download the map bundle.
How old do you have to be to rent & drive?
You must be 21 years to rent or drive any UTV.
Are the UTV's street legal?
Yes they are, however we don't recommend driving at the high rate of speed that is required on paved roads for long periods of time.
Can a rental be a partial day?
Yes, we do rent for half days. Morning rental is from 8 - 12 and PM rental is from 1 - 5. With that, we can be flexible during offseason (Oct - Mar) based on availability.
Is the deposit refundable?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking. However, we know that weather is unpredictable and we will do our best to work with you to reschedule your ride to a later date.
What are places around us to eat?
There are two restaurants located in Nemo. The Nemo Merc Pizza and Pub is open year round and has a convenience store, gas, food and bar. The Brandin Iron is open from May - Sept. We also recommend Bar 385 located on 385 outside of Galena and Moonshine Gulch in Rochford. For coffee and ice cream, we recommend Alpine Outpost 385.
Are there places in the area to stay?
Yes, we recommend several places in the area that can accommodate various groups.

Who has to wear a helmet?
Anyone 18 years or under is required to wear a helmet per South Dakota law. Anyone over the age of 18 is recommended to wear a helmet, however you can sign an insurance waiver if you decline to wear one.
What do I need to bring on day of rental?
Any potential drivers must bring a valid ID. Also, we have two forms that need to be completed prior to rental. You can download the forms below and bring the completed forms with you.
